Initial meetings arranged by IASE to discuss a joint project with EKTU, and Bilfinger Engineers to improve the operational reliability of coal-based power plants. The collaboration focuses on using sensor-based monitoring and digital twin technology to detect and prevent boiler tube failures, one of the leading causes of costly unplanned outages.

IASE held a series of productive meetings with the management team at CIP Bolashak to discuss potential collaboration opportunities. Discussions focused on aligning with the Bolashak Internship Scheme and the 500 Scientists Programme, with shared interest in creating high-quality placements and academic pathways for Kazakh professionals and researchers.

IASE and Eurasian National University have launched a joint study on the impact of generative AI on business and governance. The project involves interviews and policy analysis across sectors including finance, health, and e-government. Findings will contribute to an academic publication planned for late 2025.

IASE has secured exclusive discounted enrolment opportunities for applicants to pursue postgraduate degrees at the University of Birmingham. The agreement covers select MSc programmes in Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Science areas.

Our Visiting Professorship scheme now includes placements at three new UK universities (University of Derby, University of Loughborough & QMUL), offering academics the opportunity to contribute to teaching and research on short-term visits.
