My Academic and Professional Association (MY APA) recently held a working meeting with representatives of LACE Law LLP, a UK-based law firm specializing in immigration law and legal support for international students and professionals.

The meeting focused on current opportunities available to students, graduates, and skilled professionals seeking to study, work, and build their careers in the United Kingdom. Participants discussed the evolving immigration landscape and explored practical pathways that enable international candidates to pursue long-term professional development in the UK.

A key topic of discussion was the Skilled Worker Visa, one of the primary routes for international professionals who have secured employment with a licensed UK employer. Representatives of LACE Law LLP provided insights into eligibility requirements, application procedures, and career prospects available through this immigration route.

The meeting also highlighted the Graduate Visa, which allows international graduates of UK universities to remain in the country after completing their studies. This route provides graduates with valuable time to gain professional experience, explore career opportunities, and transition into longer-term employment pathways. Graduates of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs can remain in the UK for up to two years, while PhD graduates may stay for up to three years.

In addition, participants discussed alternative immigration routes, career planning strategies, and opportunities for graduates seeking to establish themselves within the UK labour market. Particular attention was given to helping individuals understand the options available to them and make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

The partnership between MY APA and LACE Law LLP is aimed at providing students, graduates, and professionals with reliable information and expert guidance on education, employment, and immigration opportunities in the United Kingdom. Through this collaboration, MY APA is able to connect its partners and clients with experienced legal professionals who can offer practical advice on selecting the most suitable immigration pathway.

“Our goal is not only to support individuals in gaining access to quality education in the UK, but also to help them understand the opportunities available after graduation and throughout their professional journey. Working alongside LACE Law LLP enables us to provide accurate, up-to-date guidance from experts who work directly in the field of UK immigration law,” said Arman Mazhikeyev, Director of MY APA.

MY APA continues to strengthen partnerships with universities, legal experts, employers, and professional organizations across the United Kingdom, creating new opportunities for international education, internships, career development, and professional growth.
