At the close of 2024, My APA was pleased to welcome ten new members to our growing international network during the Q4 meeting of the association. The new cohort includes academics and professionals from both the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan, further strengthening the organisation’s cross-border expertise and collaborative potential.

These members bring valuable knowledge and experience in fields such as information technology, engineering, and applied sciences. Their participation will play a key role in shaping and advancing joint research initiatives between UK institutions and partner universities in Kazakhstan.

In particular, new members will contribute to collaborative project design, proposal development, and the expansion of research partnerships aligned with national priorities in innovation, digitalisation, and sustainable infrastructure. Several of them are already engaged in planning activities related to grant applications and interdisciplinary academic programmes.

My APA remains committed to fostering a dynamic and diverse professional community that bridges regions and disciplines. The continued growth of the network reflects the increasing interest in collaborative research, academic mobility, and capacity-building efforts between Central Asia and the UK.
