My APA is pleased to announce the signing of a formal collaboration agreement with East Kazakhstan Technological University (EKTU), marking the beginning of a strategic partnership focused on advancing joint academic and research programmes in the fields of water management and engineering.

This agreement reflects a shared commitment to addressing critical regional and global challenges through academic cooperation, applied research, and skills development. As part of the collaboration, the two institutions will engage in coordinated efforts to support research visits, facilitate student and early-career internships, and co-supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects. These initiatives aim to foster institutional learning, enhance academic capacity, and encourage the development of practical solutions to issues in sustainable water systems and engineering innovation.

The partnership is particularly timely, given the growing need for expertise in water resource management, infrastructure resilience, and environmentally responsible engineering in Central Asia. Initial planning is already underway for the first round of academic exchanges and collaborative research activities, expected to begin later in 2025.

My APA and EKTU look forward to building a long-term relationship that not only enriches the academic experience of participating students and staff but also contributes to impactful research with real-world relevance.
