My APA and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) have launched a collaborative research project to investigate the impact of generative AI on business and governance in Kazakhstan.

The study takes a cross-sectoral approach, combining qualitative interviews and policy analysis across key domains including financial services, healthcare, education, and e-government. The research aims to provide a deeper understanding of how generative AI technologies are shaping organisational practices, decision-making, and regulatory responses in the Kazakh context.

Insights from the study will inform an academic publication scheduled for release in late 2025. The project reflects a broader commitment to evidence-based policy development and responsible AI integration across emerging economies.
